Ever since she was young, Irina Voronina has liked to read: her favorite writers are Shakespeare, Chekhov and Tolstoy. When she was a teen, Irina Voronina entered art school studying drawing and developing a rebellious streak – she used to cut school and hang out with fellow students at her apartment, though she says that made her teachers hate her.
The end of communism in Russia meant Irina Voronina was free to travel the world. Soon, Irina Voronina acquired a visa and left to pursue modeling in the west.
